about us
CJAC (Community Justice & Abolition collective, pronounced see-jack) is a horizontally-run chapel hill based collective agitating against capitalism, colonialism, and the prison-industrial-complex.we are dedicated to using action, education, and relationality as tools for building a world in which carcerality is obsolete. CJAC views itself as a local component within the larger struggle for liberation around the world. Here's a reading list to better understand what we mean when we call ourselves abolitionists.our group hosts:
1. a weekly hot meal distribution on franklin st. --- saturdays at 5pm at peace & justice plaza
2. theoutsideagitator.com, our abolitionist publication
